Come with me to a magical place where the smallest bird species of the world fly, eat and play freely around you (no enclosures!) nature tour.
Marvel at the speed and agility these little animals fly. Hummingbirds are originary to the american continent (north, central and south) and Colombia has the most species of them in the entire world.
A sanctuary in the middle of the west mountains of Cali to tour nature and connect with nature's smallest birds. Not enclosed in any way, they come to the feeders that the owner very diligently fills everyday. 40 liters of water, 5 kilograms of sugar, 20 kilograms of bananas... everyday!
If you like nature, outdoors and animals I promise you will enjoy this place. Like Claudia, who fed the hummingbirds right at the palm of her hands. She literally couldn't hold her tears. Watch below:
Have a listen at the soundscape (sound environment) of the place:
As part of my service, I include the usage of my semi-professional camera for you to take your own souvenir pictures, a long-lasting memory.
We will drive up-hill the west mountains of Cali into a climate known as 'cloud forest'. Weather may be chilly, so bring a sweater just in case.
The place is a farm house with the necessary to sit down and enjoy a nice time watching the hummingbirds.
An exciting time doing something you may not do anywhere else in the world. Good for lonely travellers, for couples, families... everyone's welcome. Lunch is not included, but they have an argentinian grill menu.
