If you like nature, water and outdoors, I have an experience you will like. Let's escape Cali's heat into the west Andes mountain range and plunge into waterfalls of crystaline water. Cold water straight from the mountains, clean as good to drink.
There's 2 waterfalls we can visit in the same place! The first one is the tallest one, readily accessible just seconds away from the parking space. It's stunning and has a natural swimming pool.
The second waterfall is smaller but feels more cozy and since it's not as tall the water doesn't hit as hard. It's too shallow for swimming but you can get to see some cute fish swimming around. It requires a short but steep hike to get to it. On the way, the view is really nice. Check a video summary of the way to the 2nd waterfall:
As an add-on to the experience, I can coordinate for you a professional drone video service for you to have a long-lasting memory of your waterfall visit. It includes aerial shots, go-pro action shots and even pictures. You will get all the taken pictures plus an exciting reel to remember your visit, ready for social media, just like the one in the beggining of this post!
You can even further personalize your experience including a delicious local breakfast or lunch, or even both! This will also increase the duration of the tour.
Have a look at the trip to get to the waterfall. Depending on where you're staying in Cali, we may take as short as 25 minutes or as long as 1 hour to get to the place. There last portion of the road is unpaved and bumpy.
Recommendations:
Come dressed ready to go straight to the water.
Bring a change of clothes to get dry into the car after the river.
Bring towels if possible.
Bring footwear with grip and that you can get wet. Sneakers are good. River shoes are great.
To get to the second waterfall it's a steep but short 5-minute hike.
I never do, but you can bring sunscreen and bugspray to your liking.
Sun protection like a cap is recommended.
Give yourself the gift and me the pleasure of bringing you to this amazing place!
I loved this tour!
